Located 42 km southeast of Phuket from Chalong Pier. It is without a doubt the most beautiful diving destination in Phuket, despite random conditions we often have visibility above 15 meters. The dive site of Bida Nok offers a splendid landscape and a very dense marine life.
The arrival by boat offers a spectacular view of these limestone cliffs covered with vegetation plunging into the blue water of the Andaman Sea. The wealth of marine life is due to the fact that Archipelago is located at the exit of Phang Nga Bay, which is composed of large mangroves where fish breed before joining the reefs. You might have the chance to see turtles, black tip reef sharks patrolling the reef, occasionally leopard sharks, big school of yellow snapper swims above the reef, hunted by trevallies and barracuda.
It takes its name from the fact that there were many zebra sharks here (also called leopard for its adult color) who find daytime rest on the sandy bottom, sheltered from currents behind one of the reefs. Unfortunately, the time has made sharks come less and less and especially the population has decreased considerably. It remains a superb reef and a very rich marine life. The site consists of 3 pinnacles, we usually stay on the first two during our dives. Here soft corals, giant sea fan, sponges offer beautiful colors. This open-sea dive site between Phuket and PhiPhi is home to many fish that find protection. it may be low visibilities (8m) and current. A minimum of 15 dives experience is recommended.
This destination is the most popular and certainly offers the most beautiful dives when conditions are good.
